In the unbelievably 128th podcast we spend a surprisingly long time chatting about Vampire: The Masquerade - Vendetta, a game with as much blood as it’s got colons! This pink-hued game doesn’t take a rose-tinted view of the source material, which Quinns and Matt get deep into a big nostalgia blanket for. How sweet! Eventually we might even talk about the game. We wrap up with some racist beans, and a surprising experiment with Tom’s pockets!
It's the big one! We've come at last to the grand finale of the Board Game Barrage Top 50 Games of All Time ... Top. Ten. Baby. These are our absolute favourite games, forty (thirty?) all together, that we'd just about never turn down a game of. Thanks for joining us on this ride, it's been wild.

Episode 72: A War Of Whispers, Dice Forge, Raiders of the North Sea
In this episode we welcome back Conor to the BBQ, joining Steve and Adrian at the BBQ. In our Sizzling Games segment Adrian has been controlling armies from afar in A War Of Whispers, Conor has been praying for a God roll in Dice Forge, and Steve has been teaching his son the art of pillaging in Raiders of the North Sea.
In our topic of the week, the team discuss what it currently takes to get a game to the table, and what influences what games they play, or don't play.
Also, the lads are bringing some games to the slow-cooker and we look forward to hearing more about those in coming weeks.
Finally, in Swear An Oath, Steve's mission to crack 300 on Ganz Shon Clever continues, Adrian is still trying to achieve $1500 in Pipeline, and Conor doubles down on his Smartphone Inc oath by adding Welcome to DinoWorld!

Board Game Arena gets more and more of our gaming time, what with its snappy interface and minimal system requirements. The sound effects, though, are controversial. The community seems divided on whether the whooshes are pleasing or distracting, and whether the knock-knock-knock sound is charming or nerve-wracking. We have heard the noise accused of being evocative of imminent swatting, which seems excessive but potentially horrifying.

In this garishly 127th episode of the Shut Up & Sit Down Podcast, Matt, Tom and Ava have a meandering little chat-a-thon about Dune Imperium - a spicy hot game that at least two of the folks on the podcast... aren’t all that hot for. I bet you can’t guess who.
We’re trying a bunch of new formats to see what fits in our new world of weekly pods - so, as always, your thoughts and feelings are appreciated.
In this episode Elaine and Efka go over Hallertau, a game about rural hop farming, Nidavellir, a game of recruiting a fantasy dwarf army and Beyond the Sun, a game about space.
