Rattlesnake has officially been added to my 2-player card game rolladex. The balance of using cards to attack vs as an ability without dying too quickly or milling yourself dry is such a satisfying puzzle to navigate. AND it takes like 10-15 minutes to play. 10/10. This is such a hard game to describe. Bag building, worker placement…sure. But it is so much more than that. It’s a whole damn experience that feels different every time you play. I really like the way Altera makes me feel, even though I’ve lost almost every game I’ve played lol. It makes me use my brain and keeps me on my toes! -Dani
