Lorcana Noobs here! We piggy dipped our little piggy toes into this TCG, and mama loves TCGs. 🪄 Decided to give this “pack rush” variant a go. Each get two packs, combine and shuffle the 24 cards to make a single deck BUT don’t look at the cards! It’s a surprise! The two non-playable cards act as starting ink to give you a boost and the first to 15 lore wins! And that was me, in case you missed it! -Dani
I love a 2-player game and Citadels Duel absolutely fits the bill. It feels like Citadels but somehow more tactical and savage? Do you need to know Citadels to enjoy the duel? Absolutely not! It’s a whole vibe of its own :) -Dani
Brass: Pittsburgh…A place where you lay pipe and sip oil all in the name of scoring more points than your partner! In all seriousness, I really enjoyed this iteration of Brass ESPECIALLY as a 2-player biddy. It checks a lot of boxes for me. -Dani
The Queen’s Dilemma! Good friggin' grief, this game checks A LOT of boxes for me. A narrative experience that encourages politics at the table AND YOU ACTUALLY HAVE FUN engaging with it (it’s fantasy…of course). We’ve already created so many inside jokes that have bled into our day-to-day conversations and you can’t put a price tag on memories like that. End Scene. -Dani

Kicking off Board Games Direct 2026 we are DELIGHTED to reveal Mechs vs. Minions: Bandle City Edition, set in the League of Legends universe, originally published by Riot Games in 2016.
Incredible Dream Studios has brought the original game back in a slimmed down and more cost effective package. The Bandle City Edition contains the same missions from the original game, and replaces the plastic minis with acrylic standees and cardboard. Adding to the content in the original game, IDS have added solo challenge puzzle cards, card dividers, skin cards with alternate-art, and more. IDS is also bringing back the Classic Edition for people wanting the original experience and plastic miniatures.
