Good grief is Hover beautifully stunning but also BRUTALLY MEAN! I had no idea hummingbirds were this aggressive and like it! Be the first to build your nest and swoon a partner with your courting call to win the game. Seems simple, but I promise you everyone is out to get you. - Dani
The most popular bird game now has a smaller version! This pocket version of Wingspan, the low conflict Euro from 2019, takes a lot of the engine/tableau building and bird interactions and crunches it down to 25-35 minutes. It still has the same great components and theming, although can it keep the same crunch and replayability? Will bird fans like this game, or maybe Wingspan haters (like Ashton) will come around to it now? Stonemaier games has gotten better at packaging and symbolology, so that is coming into play with the Elizabeth Hargrave design! And yes, you can fit the cards and eggs into your literal pocket!
