FYI: 31:23 When you land on the 10th card or beyond and trigger the game's end, you do not replenish your hand. This will be made clear in the final rulebook.

In this Tenby board game review, I take a look at Tenby, a cozy town-building board game with a brilliantly clever action selection system and a smart turn order mechanism. If you enjoy games with charming themes and meaningful decisions, Tenby has a lot to like.
What really stood out to me is how your action choices affect turn order. That means every round becomes a timing puzzle: you’re not just choosing the best action, you’re choosing when to act now and how that may affect your position next round.

Tenby looks cozy on the table, but it has a surprisingly sharp strategic core. If you like board games with hidden depth, drafting decisions, and clever timing, this one is worth checking out.

Will the Band of Babes successfully steal some horses? Embarass the new Sheriff? Put on a dance show? Talk to the dead? Flirt with the Innkeeper's Wife? Anything could happen.

I continue my run through board games I've covered in old videos, attaching my ratings to each of them. But my rating system might be unique, I'm not sure. Most people would rate a game based on how good they think it is; BoardGameGeek's system is based on how much you want to play it. Me, I rate games based on how much I want to keep them in my collection.
(no stars) — I definitely don't want to keep this game and will actively try to get rid of it, and quickly.
⭐ — I can tell it's not for me and don't want to keep it, so I will actively try to trade or sell it. I probably wouldn't re-acquire it.
⭐⭐ — I like the game fine and don't mind to own it. I may or may not trade or sell it, for fair value, and if I do, I might or might not re-acquire it someday.
⭐⭐⭐ — I like this game quite a bit and would like to keep it. I wouldn't actively try to get rid of it, but would consider a generous offer to trade or sell it.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ — I (or someone in my family) loves this game. I wouldn't consider getting rid of it, and expect it'll be in my collection a long, long time.

Many things have changed in the two years since we did a list like this the last time, and we are excited to share it with you!
