"I got kicked out of university after delivering a brilliant lecture on the aggressive influence of German philosophy on rock and roll, entitled, 'You, Kant, Always Get What You Want.'"

Welcome back from our captivating interlude, “Screening, Streaming, and Steaming”! Now, let’s dive into our regular musings on the freshest board games. Brace yourselves as we explore two intriguing Devir titles—because, let’s face it, Devir rarely disappoints. But hold your dice! We’ll dissect not just the production quality but also the heart of gameplay.

And then there’s Queen Games, marching in with a new lineup tailored for family play. Picture lighter fare, like a sun-kissed afternoon picnic. But here’s my confession: Spatial relations? Not exactly my forte. So, fellow gamers, bear with us as we navigate these games together!

Thanks for listening and supporting the show

Episode 292: Discussion on Mental Health, Knarr, Let's Go! To Japan

This week Lauren, Dana and Jules chat about a really important topic - how mental health and board gaming affect one another. We dive into some personal stories, as well as sharing our thoughts on the positives and negatives of mental health in the board game space. After that, we get into some sizzles! Has Jules been leading a band of vikings? Knarr yeah. Dana has been feeding her travel bug pouring over the beautiful components in Let's Go! To Japan.

After that we've got the regularly scheduled Question of the Pod, and we make some new oaths.

New Question of the Pod: How does board gaming affect your mental health?
