In this episode, Banana, Adrian and Conor are in the mood to reminisce about a HUGE gaming weekend for Adrian’s 40th birthday. Adrian has fallen for The Gang, and by that he means not just the people at his birthday bash, but the game as well. Meanwhile Conor has been battling head-to-head and having fun with one of his favourite TCG’s without breaking the bank, in Altered. Banana surprisingly enjoyed a game that prides itself on getting pleasure from other people’s misery in Shadenfreude, and also got to have an unexpected try of a Kickstarter prototype!

Hark, and well met, weary travelers! Come, rest thyselves and lend thine ears to the grand tales woven by the Lords of the Dungeon. Lady Jess shall regale thee with the chronicles of thy city upon the bridge, a place of wonder and enigma. Thereafter, the council doth gather to speak on the matter of adventures - those drawn from dusty tomes of old, and those forged anew by the hands of mortal minds. At journey’s end, they delve deep into spirited discourse, weighing the desires of the player 'gainst the will of the character. Sit ye back, and partake in this feast of wisdom and mirth!
In this episode of The Spielworxx Bulletin, Ben and Uli are joined by Ignacy Trzewiczek of Portal Games and Arnaud Charpentier of Matagot Games. We talk Leiria Con and the end of the board game industry.
Today, we focus on what designers should do when they've built a design on an existing game. How much borrowing is too much borrowing? We also look ahead to some upcoming events, share a new Tale of Boardgaming Horror, and run through our latest batch of Roses, Thorns, and Hula Hoops.

When is a thing like another thing? Is Albedo like Core Worlds? Is Cat Blues like Rummy? Is Through the Desert like Go? Is a nudge as good as a wink to blind bat? Are all Roll & Writes inferior to Roll a 6, Win a Cookie? Is Christophe Boelinger France's Vlaada Chvátil? Probably, because it's all just like Mage Knight in the end.

We are back again for another riveting episode of RDTN. But there is a surprise in this episode, there is somewhat a theme with the games we played. We are going to be talking about dice driven euros, meaning a euro with dice. Okay, that could have gone without saying. Not all games we talk about are euro dice, so don’t miss those discussions as well.
When you get a chance after listening to the episode, we would appreciate taking the time over at Boardgamegeek and giving us a vote for best podcast. Thank you in advance.
This week's guest is the owner of Burnt Island Games and Kids Table BG, Helaina Cappel. We talk about running two publishers, the trade war between Canada and America and working with your spouse...but which games did she choose?
